Where we work with Australian clients we also observe the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page sets out what we collect, why, and how we look after it.
What we collect
When you contact us or engage our services we collect details such as your name, business contact information and the substance of your enquiry. Enquiries sent through our contact form are processed by our form provider and passed to us. During an engagement we may also handle information about your systems, solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed work.
Why we collect it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, deliver and administer our services, meet legal and contractual obligations, and improve how we work. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to guard personal information against misuse, loss and unauthorised access, both in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the people who need it to deliver your work, and information is kept only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or as the law demands.
Who we share it with
We disclose personal information only where it is necessary to deliver our services, where the law requires it, or with your consent. Engagement findings and reports remain confidential to the client. Some of our service providers store information outside New Zealand; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to a comparable standard.
Access and correction
You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a question or complaint about this policy, through our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
